From Punta Bandera port, to 47k from the El Calafate we start the navigation across the north arm of the Argentinian lake. We cross the Devil’s mouth to get to the Upsala canal and to navigate between the big Ice bergs that detach from the Upsala Glacier. Then we enter the Spegazzini canal and moments later we will have the first view of the Dry glacier. We continue with the navigation till we reach the front face of the Spegazzini glacier, there we will also have the opportunity to see the Heim south and Peineta glaciers. We get ready to land on the Spegazzini base and start the visit to the area walking across the path of the woods until we reach the Spegazzini shelter (inauguration coming soon). This path of 300 meters is accessible, when traveling across it we will have stations and lookouts with view to the whole bay of the glaciers. On the shelter we can have lunch, visit the store or just admire the view. For those who really enjoy walking, they can take the path to the mountain. This trip is a medium difficulty trekking across a wooded road, with natural lookouts, full of incredible views that will finish at the landing point.
