This excursion is only suitable for people between 10 and 65 years old. Pregnant women, so as people suffering heart desease or breathing affections will not be allowed to participate of the activity.
We leave El Calafate to the National Park Los Glaciares and arrive to the port “Bajo de las Sombras”, located in the south arm of the Argentino Lake. After navigating for 20 minutes, we will dock at the south side of the glacier where a mountain guide will lead us during the excursion. A short talk about the details of the tour will be provided in the refuge where we will start our walk. After walking along a forest of lengas and ñires, and then along the shore of the lake, we reach the ice, in a place where the guide will explain how to walk on this special Surface using the crampons.
The walk will take 1 and a half hours approximately. Then, the group will return to the lodge and sail back to the port, from where we will reach the balconies by a short bus trip, having also a short time to enjoy the Perito Moreno from its front wall.
It includes: Pickup and drop off, visit to the balconies.
Not including: Entrance fee to the national Park.

Sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable and warm clothes, cap for the sun, waterproof jacket, gloves, trekking footwear, and lunchbox.
