Cerro Mayo and Cerro Negro’s glaciers are located within Seno Mayo of Argentino Lake and Los Glaciares National Park, the only way to access them is via lake. Departing from Puerto Punta Bandera, we will sail until entering the Seno Mayo of the Argentino Lake. We will disembark at Bahía Toro. Accompanied by a guide, we will walk through the Andean Patagonian Forest. Then we will go through the forest until we reach a waterfall, from where we can observe a formation of calcareous rocks 180 meters high. Starting from Bahía Toro, we will continue navigating the Seno Mayo of the Argentino Lake where we will observe the Glaciers of Cerro Mayo and the Hanging Glacier of Cerro Negro. We will disembark and accompanied by a guide we will initiate a walk of approximately 1.000 meters inside the Forest to the stone wall from where we will observe the Hanging Glacier with 360º views of a landscape that will leave us amazed. We will stay a while on the site and then return to the ship that will take us to the north wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier. We will disembark in the floating dock of Puerto Moreno (at the beginning of the walkways), to travel the same and according to the itinerary of each passenger return to the City of El Calafate.
