From El Chaltén, we will take Route 23 to enter the Cordillera to arrive at the Lago del Desierto (37kms – 1.15 hs gravel and stones route) where we will embark towards the Vespignani Reserve. During the 20-minute navigation you can see the Huemul and Vespignani Glaciers and the north face of Cerro Fitz Roy. Then in the reserve you will be received by the local guide who will give you information about the 3 self-guided trails (easy, moderate and difficult). From the last two it is possible to appreciate the Vespignani Glacier – the largest and most impressive of the Lago del Desierto – and once again have an incredible view of the Fitz Roy Hill.
