We enter the world of glaciers taking Route 15 (the old route that connected all the ranches of the area).
Closely to the Nibepo Aike we embark the boat Fonzo Ranger SR-90 to navigate through the south brunch of the Argentinian Lake heading the south end where we will dissembark.
Then we enter an unexplored site. A first walk to the Frias Lake, a sailing in a motorized rubber boat to cross it and finally the hike to the Glaciar Grande.
We get to a magical place. A glacier valley, with changing environments and exposed glaciations evidence. Finally the amphitheater of the Big Glacier. There we will have lunch seeing the Cubo and Dickson Galciers as well.
The hike includes nearly 6 hours of walking for 14 km of crossing, with fairly level and medium technical requirement.
